Climate
On the southern slope of Lower Tatras lie the centres of Tale, Srdiecko and -Kosodrevina. The resort of Donavaly is situated in the southern part of the -Fatras and south west of the town of Banska Byrstrica, are the massifs of Kremnicke and Stiavnicke where the extraction of precious metals still takes place -today.
