Bile Karpaty runs along the Moravian and Slovakian borders and the summits of Strazovske vrchy stand on the other side of the Vah valley. It is in this valley where the internationally renowned thermal resorts of Piestany and Trencianske Teplice are to be found. This region is also distinguished by its unspoiled countryside.
