Climate
Historical village, in the eastern part of the region, convenient, 80 km south-west from Barcelona, 10 km north-east from Tarragona. Supermarket, shops, restaurant, bar, disco, evening entertainment, attractions. Access: access via a good road. Railway station "Altafulla-Tamarit". Torredembarra 3 km. Vilafranca 40 km. Salou 30 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Barcelona-Prat Llob. (BCN) 70 km. There is general tourist interest in this town as well as an interest for the historical culture making this a popular destination. There are long sandy beaches with many leisure activities (horse riding school, a marine club, hiking trips by horse or bicycle). Altafulla is famous for its old town (s.XVIII), which is interesting and has been conserved well. There are numerous trip possibilities (tour of the Cister, Vilafrance, tour of the Wine,...). Roman villa "Els Munts",which has been declared by UNSECO as under monument protection. Golf course "El Catllar" (18 holes) 8 km.
