Small resort with 2'000 inhabitants, in the eastern part of the region, convenient, 25 km north from Málaga, 15 km from Rincón de la Victoria. Supermarket, shops, restaurant, bar. More possibilities for shopping and entertainments 25 km. Access: access via a good road. Railway station "Málaga". Bus service. Antequera 70 km. Vélez Málaga 25 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Málaga (AGP) 35 km. Town situated inland on the Costa del Sol, in the Axarquia nature park. The buildings are of Arab origin, with narrow, winding roads with no traffic. Must visit: the San Mateo monument, built in the XVI century.
